Brandon is located on the northern side of the dingle peninsula in Co. Kerry. The stone cottage and stone farmhouse  are located at brandon point in a peaceful, unspoilt area with spectatular view of brandon bay and surrounding mountains.  The cottage in Cloghane is very popular cottage. It is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from the village on an elevated site overlooking the estuary. There are sea and mountain views from every window.Both the Stone Cottage and Stone Farmhouse are individual with a style of their own rather than the monotonous same colour and layout type constructions that you find in some holiday villages. Both cottages are situated on their own with unobstructed mountain and sea views from every window. Brandon has been described as the Land of extremes, extreme isolation at Europes periphery, extreme beauty of land, water and sky.  Cloghane is a little village 4 miles from Brandon Point. Cottage in Cloghane   This cottage in Cloghane is a lovely three bedroom cottage located on an elevated site overlooking the estuary with panoramic mountain views from every window. It is very popular with families. It has 3 bedrooms - double, double + single, twin room. One bathroom. Kitchen with full cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave. Utility room with washing machine and dryer. There is a large living/dining room with a large window overlooking the bay. There is an open fire in the living room and there is also oil fired central heating.  The photo below shows the panoramic view from this cottage.                                                                It is walking distance to the village of cloghane and about a mile for a local beach that is ideal for children when the tide is in they can swim and when the tide is out there are rock pools for catching shrimps and crabs. There are other beachs for body boarding and surfing if the children are older. There is a play ground for younger children about 2 miles from the cottage. There is a little pier in brandon where boats can be hired to fish again it really depends on what age and what interests you have. There are numerous walks locally suitable for all ages . Horse Riding available in castlegregory or dingle both about 9 miles away. There is an aquarium, bowling alley, climbing wall, cinema all in dingle which is only 20 minutes away over the lovely conor pass. Stone Farmhouse The Stone farmhouse is over 100 years old and has been renovated and furnished to a high standard. It has a 4* approval from Failte Ireland. It has an open plan living\dining\kitchen with and openfire and large windows with stunning views. It has 4 bedrooms (2 Doubles, 2 Singles) upstairs all with views of the bay. A bathroom upstairs and a separate shower room downstairs.  It has all modern appliances washer, dryer, dishwasher, radio, tv, dvd and a selection of books. Stone Cottage   The Stone Cottage is an elevated stone-front cottage in peaceful, unspoilt location. Spectacular views of Brandon Bay, Maharee Islands, Kerry Head and mountains. The stone cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 Double Rooms and Twin Room), bathroom, living\dining, kitchen\dining, shower room and utility room. It has a 4* approval from Failte Ireland. It has all modern appliances washer, dryer, dishwasher, radio, tv, dvd and a selection of books. The house has both oil fired central heating and an open turf fire in the living room.The cottage has electric storage and convectional heating and an open turf fire in the living room.
